This coming Sunday is my one year wedding anniversary. In honor of the most important day of my life, I thought it would be appropriate to feature some of the design work that went into it. Rather than try to use the smaller space I have here in the blog, I chose to add a new subsection to the WORK section of my site. Please go HERE to see the full entry and full-size images.
I would be remiss to give the impression that this was all done on my own. Victoria Hoke Lane, of Calligraphos, Ink. did all the calligraphy, including hand-addressing every invitation. Lauryl Lane took the photographs you see here, and was the mastermind behind our floral design. You can see both of their work featured in this case study.
It is imperative, also, that we mention the designer whose own wedding invitations inspired these. I have never met Nick Brue, but I would be very interested in chatting with him about his logo design; the guy does stellar work. You will notice some really strong similarities between his use of a "crest" and mine, but I wanted to feature Victoria's fantastic calligraphy more prominently in our print suite.
Please check out this romantic addition to my portfolio. Anniversary well-wishes are also appreciated.
